iMovie is a video editing software application which allows Mac users to edit their own home movies. Users can edit video clips, add titles, and add music. It has some effects including basic color correction and video enhancement tools, and transitions such as fade-in, fade-out, slides, and so on.
During using Mac iMovie, some users will encounter with the puzzle of converting the original file into mov format. Here I’ll tell you how to do that.
As you know, an mov file extension comes from QuickTime. After editing your file in iMovie, first click ‘Share’, and click ‘Export to QuickTime’.

 

Rename the file, and choose the output route. Here I’ll save my new mov file onto my desktop.

 

Then press ‘Save’. A few second later, you can see your desired MOV file is on Desktop.

 

 

To do a more perfect job, just click on it, and see if it can be played successfully.
